Games of 7/15 , 7/18 & 7/20
Castellano Vs Colby - Colby won 12 to 11 - we only got 5 innings in thou - who knows what would have happened if Castellano was able to get up again.....

Surico VS Carroll - Surico won 11 to 4

Siezc/Lunch vs George/Kaplan - Siezc/Lynch won 17 to 2

Fanti Defeated Sommerville 17 to 2, the Fanti team had great hitting and fielding and seemed to hit the ball where they wanted. The Sommerville team had some trouble in the first few innings, but got their act together in the end, getting some hits and scoring 2 runs in last innning to prevent a HUGE shutout.


Games of 7/11 & 7/13
7/15 Fanti vs George/Kaplan & Fanti won 20 to 4.

On Wed 7/13 - the two scheduled games at Apple Lane were moved due to field conditions - the Town of Smithtown closed the fields.. so Castellano vs George/Kaplan was played at the girls softball field at HYO. We agreed before the start of the game anything over the fence was a ground rule double. I know Patricia Cohen and Sue Ford from Castellano team had a couple of "Ground Rule doubles" & Leslie Kaplan had one from the George/Kaplan team. All in all the game went off - despite what we had to deal with & Castellano won.

The Siezcowski/Lynch vs Surico team moved from Apple to Forest Brook. Unfortunately, the umpire was not able to follow and agreed upon the coaches "umpiring" the game. Siezcowski/Lynch won 21 to 5.

Sommerville vs Carroll played their game at the JV field where Sommerville won 11 to 2.

As stated before the field at the middle school was unplayable - the Colby vs Passante game has been reschedule for Mon 7/25 at Apple Lower.

On Mon 7/18 - Passante vs Surico was played at Apple Upper where Passante won 15 to 7.
